- In our discussion today you should focus on building on and challenging other student's ideas. I have given each group a copy of sentence frames to use.
- Post your TQEs here so that we can discuss them as a class.

Big Ideas: What are your assets?
Reading: Today we will read for 10 minutes. Your book review is today.
Agenda:
- Fill out the reading progress form.
- Today we will start the book review in class. You will have 10 minutes to begin. It is due on Sunday by 9PM.
- Assets are the positive things in a person's life that help the person do well.
- You will take a survey to see how of these assets are present in your life. You will not have to share this information with any other student in the class.
- Start a new English Journal
- Title: 40 Developmental Assets
- We will use the Notice and Wonder strategy.

- Create some Shakespearean insults. Add them below your summary.
- Meet with your acting group. Read 3.2.345-464 and write a summary together.

- One group will paraphrase a passage and act as a narrator. All members of the group must read part of the narration.
- The other group will be acting out the same scene that was previously narrated.
- Two groups will be performing today.
