Odyssey Group Project

Big Ideas: Is Odysseus a hero or a villain?

Reading: Today we will read for 10 minutes. Your next book review is on May 17th.



Agenda:
  1. You will work on your group project. You will need six people in your group.
    1. Look at this reader's theater script. You will need to choose major parts for each person. Each person will also have to also read minor parts.
    2. You will need to create a Google Slide deck and share it with everyone in the group.
    3. Read through the script one time so that you get the gist of the action.
    4. Now choose pictures for the presentation that go with the text.
    5. You will use Screencastify to record your audio presentation.
    6. Make sure you practice reading through it a few times before you record.

    1. Retell a part of the Odyssey from a minor character's point of view. For example, retell the Cyclops scene from the perspective of one of Odysseus' companions.
