Essential Question: What does it take to survive?

Goal: to begin thinking about the novels for our Lit. Circles

Agenda:
1. Read Silently
2. Divide up the roles for our first Lit. Circle with our new novels.

Today you will have the entire period to begin your Lit. Circle work. It is very important to stay focused during this period and not waste time.

Things you should do on Lit. Circle prep days:

1. Take time to read, highlight, and annotate
2. Clarify your thoughts and ideas; ask me questions if you need to
3. Begin your Lit. Circle write-up

Homework:
1. Read your Lit. Circle book
2. Work on your Vocabulary: due on Friday
