Website Portfolio

Big Ideas: Who or what is in control?

Reading: Today we will read for 10 minutes.

Agenda:
  1. We will begin bringing our website portfolio up-to-date for the first semester.
    1. First, we will add the rest of the Capacities of a Literate Individual.
    2. Second, we will look for evidence for each capacity in the work we have done over the semester.
  2. We will also look at our English Journals and bring them up-to-date and get to have them graded.

Success Criteria:

  1. I can identify what I am most worried about this semester. I have a strategy for how to deal with it.
  2. I have a plan for how to talk to more of my classmates.
  3. I wrote a letter that helped Mr. B better understand me as a person.
  4. I can explain the plot of a book I read independently.
  5. I can improve my vocabulary by working on SAT vocabulary lists.
  6. I can track what I have learned this year using a website portfolio.

Homework:

  1. Work on your SAT F vocabulary.
