Reading: Today we will read for five minutes. Your next book review will be on November 9th.

1. Today is our class discussion. I will be grading some of you today and others on Friday. Remember your grade is entirely dependent on the quality of your comments during discussion.

1. Work on your vocabulary.
2. Read chapter 4 by Wednesday and chapter 5 by Friday. Be ready to discuss.
