Big Ideas: What is human nature?

Reading: Today we will read for 5 minutes. If you want more time, get here early.

Agenda:

1. We will practice two more quote sandwiches. Open your English Journal. Add two more rows to the English Journal about Quote Sandwiches.
2. We will do a getting to know you activity and then spend the rest of the time reading for next week.
3. Reading schedule for next week
1. We will discuss chapter ten, The Shell and the Glasses on Tuesday (155-168)
2. We will discuss chapter eleven, Castle Rock on Friday (169-182)
3. This schedule will put us on track to finish the book the week after we return from Thanksgiving break.

Success Criteria:

1. I can create a quote sandwich on my own.

Homework:

1. Make sure you are ready for the discussion on Tuesday.
2. Work on your vocabulary. 50% is due on Tuesday.
